This wine is a field blend of ancient-vine Moscatel, Torrontés, and a small amount of Pais. As the name implies, it is a skin-contact or “orange” wine, done in a traditional manner dating back to the earliest days of Chilean winemaking. Fruit is crushed by hand and ferments in open-topped stone pits with 30 days on the skins. Make sure to serve it nicely chilled and try it with chicken tamales, fish tacos, or fried plantains!
