Vieux Chateau Boeno Pomerol 2020

My travels to Bordeaux have taught me that the most age worthy wines are from Pomerol, which is mostly made from Merlot. In this case this very historic estate uses only Merlot, aged in new French oak barrels for a year. The palate is rich and intense, with a muscular core of fruit framed by the powerful tannins the blue clay soils of this region contributes.  Drink 2025-2035.
