A blend of the classic three varieties plus historic ones as well; Petit Meslier, Arbanne and Pinot Blanc. 60% of this disgorgement is 2016 vintage. The balance is reserve wine of which half is 5 vintage blend, the remaining 20% is a perpetual blend that started in 2004.
Classic notes of baked Gala apple, pear butter, candied lemon peel; initially quite plump with impressive intensity and depth, nice focus and length. Far more serious than a cocktail Champagne but spectacular with seafood.
