The California wine glut continues and here is another great opportunity to buy first quality wine at bargain prices. Last month we brought you the Hamilton Creek Rutherford Blend, a huge hit that is thankfully back in stock. This week we are happy to present this wine, an Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that was likely intended for a much more expensive bottle but ended up being sold in the bulk market. This one is in good supply but don’t wait too long.

This wine shows the classic notes of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, redolent with blackberry, black currant, dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans on the nose. The palate is lush and rich with deep fruit and smooth, soft tannins.
