Selbach Riesling Scheifer Lage Dry 2023

Winemaker Johannes Selbach produces Riesling throughout the Middle Mosel growing region but is headquartered in the historic winegrowing village of Zeltingen. It is here that he sources all the fruit for this dry bottling, both from his own estate and from trusted neighbors. The hillsides of Zeltingen are so steep that mechanization is impossible, so this wine is hand-harvested, often utilizing climbing gear! Dry and perfect for summer, this wine delivers notes of key lime, Anjou pear, pineapple, wet stones, and honeysuckle. Drink from 2026 to 2031 with grilled sausages, salad with roasted red peppers, or by itself as an aperitif or pool wine!
