This is the fifth bottling of Photobomb Cab and somehow they manage to get better each time despite starting at a very high level. It is made from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon from Wahluke Slope, blended with 10% Petit Verdot from Dionysus Vineyard, 8% Malbec from Mary Evelyn Vineyard, and 7% Cabernet Franc from Dineen Vineyard. While you may not know all those names, trust me, there are a lot of $50+ bottles made from those same sources. The wine is also aged in French oak barrels for 20 months before bottling which is an uncommon step for a wine in this price range where most examples are now aged with wood chips.
