Alvarinho is the name for the Albariño in Portugal, with this wine coming from vineyards on the Minho River that forms the border between the two countries. Thanks to a close proximity to the cold Atlantic Ocean this is a lighter example that is perfect for hot weather. The fresh nectarine, apricot and sea spray aromas jump out of the glass, but on the palate this wine disappears like a whisper. Drink 2024-2025 with peel and eat shrimp or blackened fish tacos.
