Marengo Barolo 2017

This is a fantastic deal for anyone who loves Barolo but wants immediate gratification. It is the 2017 Mario Marengo Barolo, an elite producer in La Morra. I personally feel that the extremely hot and dry conditions in 2017 did not make for long lived Barolo, but good farmers did manage to make lovely wines for near term consumption. In a year like 2019 I would recommend aging this wine for 10 years before consuming, but in 2017 the window is far closer.
