Majestic Esprit Bordeaux Blanc 2024

These wines are made by the Famille Icard, who established their roots in the Bordeaux region in 1790. Over the years, they have acquired four châteaux in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, which is the source for the Majestic Esprit wines. The current generation sees the challenges of the present and the opportunities for the future, delivering a couple of delicious wines that you can serve every day or for special occasions. We sell a lot of White Bordeaux because most of the great values are either 100% Sauvignon Blanc or close to it. The style is very different from Marlborough or even Sancerre, with a bit less of the grapefruit/gooseberry aromas and more tangerine/kumquat citrus notes along with a telltale grassiness. This bottling is crisp and fresh, with a lovely persistent citrus quality and a delicate finish. Drink it by the pool or at the beach, paired with a cheese board, tinned fish, or ice-cold oysters!
