Lyma Vinho Verde 2024

Named for the Lima subregion of Vinho Verde and the river that runs through it, Lyma is made by João Portugal Ramos from 100% Loureiro. Lima’s Atlantic influence and granite soils are particularly well suited to Loureiro, producing a fresh, aromatic expression of the grape. Unlike the lightly fizzy Vinho Verde many people expect, this is a still wine with a little more body, showing peeled green apple, honeydew, kaffir lime, fresh mint and a clean, stony finish. Serve it well chilled with soft cheeses, tinned fish, fresh seafood or fruit salads, or simply as a fun poolside sipper.
