La Dame de Malescot Margaux 2018

I have a soft spot in my heart for Malescot St. Exupery, of which this is their second label, because it is the first chateau I ever visited. It is also one of only a handful of chateaux in the entire Medoc that is a primary residence. For this wine Jean-Luc Zuger shows the restrained power of Margaux fruit with a more generous mid-palate for near term drinking. Drink 2023-2030.
