It is no surprise that this is one of the best examples of an orange wine we have tasted, John has a lot of experience with fermenting white wines with skin contact because of his other projects. And no, this wine is not made from oranges, but rather the same white wine as above except the grape skins are left in the fermentor for 24 days! The result is a wine that is, well, orange, and lives somewhere between the freshness of a white wine and the weight and texture of a light red.

You will want to decant this wine for a few minutes and serve slightly chilled, then the nose explodes. On the palate this wine is quite fresh, with a lot of texture and a long finish. Serve with charcuterie and stinky cheeses, or a grilled pork tenderloin with rosemary and garlic.
