Falanghina is an ancient variety that can trace its lineage to the Greek colonization of Campania in the 8th century BC. The Greeks, realizing the importance of terroir, planted this variety on volcanic soils around Sannio, a plateau which forms the eastern border of the region. This wine is fermented exclusively in stainless steel with no malolactic conversion in order to preserve the natural aromatics of Falanghina. When you open this wine, it immediately delivers notes of green melon, fresh golden delicious apple, slate, magnolia blossom, and flint. Drink 2025-2028 with grilled fish, salad with burrata cheese, or homemade bruschetta.
