White Beaujolais, while relatively small-production, is more common than you might think. After all, the climate and soils here in Beaujolais overlap with those of the Mâconnais in Burgundy, a stronghold of mineral-driven whites. Fortunately the 2023 vintage saw a much larger crop than in years past, enabling us to bring in large quantities of this fan favorite. With notes of golden delicious apple, apple blossom, Meyer lemon peel, and wet stones, this is a budget-friendly answer to white Burgundy. Drink now through 2028 and serve well-chilled with tuna poke, sesame noodles, or all by itself!
