Most of the famed hillside of Poyeux is planted to Cabernet Franc, of which Duveau is considered a master of handling. After learning in St. Emilion he brought back a gift for coaxing complete ripeness out of his vines without excessive weight. As such, this is a muscular example of the grape with notes of black currants, blackberry, tomato leaf, and graphite. Drink 2026-2050.
