Endless River Sauvignon Blanc 2023

This is our first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc feature this year and long overdue. While the grocery store examples are a bit homogenous, we seek out examples that define the category and show a lot more character. We were blown away by this version, which is produced from a single vineyard close to the coast than many examples. The cooler climate allows for longer, even ripening creating a wine with profound aromatics and great focus.

Of course it would not be from Marlborough without the tell-tele notes of passionfruit and gooseberry, but this one also has enchanting aromas of nectarine and quince. On the palate it is delicate but with a razor sharp edge that makes it perfect to drink by itself, or with a cheese board or baked fish.
