Dupeuble Beaujolais Blanc 2023

White Beaujolais is more common than you might think! Beaujolais enjoys a similar climate to the Mâconnais right next door, where the famous white wines of Pouilly-Fuissé are made. This bottling comes from a hillside parcel of Chardonnay planted where the soils are predominantly limestone instead of the granite typical to this part of Beaujolais. The limestone soils and traditional viticulture produce an aromatic, mineral-driven wine with notes of fresh quince, peeled green apple, kaffir lime, and flint. Drink 2025-2028 with tomato gazpacho, chicken salad with artichoke hearts, or couscous with chickpeas and feta.
