While we love the effect of alcohol in wine, do you know what role it plays in texture, aromatics, and aging? Are you someone who is paying more attention to the amount of alcohol in wine—less, not more? This will be a blind tasting featuring wines with varying alcohol content: no alcohol, 12% or less, 13% or less, 14% or less, 15% or less, and finally, one with more than 15% alcohol. Do you think you will be able to tell the difference? This will be an open house tasting, and we encourage you to discuss your thoughts with us and fellow attendees.
