It is a bit of hyperbole but Tuscany may be the most magical and mythical wine region in the world. Sure, the Burgundy region of France is revered and of course California has its fans, but there is a glimmer in customers eyes’ when they mention traveling to Tuscany. For this sit down, lecture format tasting we will look at the red wines of Tuscany through three flights. The first will be a comparison of three levels of Chianti; classico, Reserva and Gran Selezione from the same estate. Second we will look at three regions of the Tuscan coast; Scansano, Bolgheri and Maremma. Finally we will taste three wines from the highlands; Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pomino. This promises to be an unforgettable evening so do not miss out.
