Auctioneer Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Howell Mountain 2020

The Reserve 2020 is the first bottling of this wine and is produced by winemaker Trevor Sheehan, who is somewhat famous for producing custom crush bottlings for high end clients. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from a private vineyard on Howell Mountain. The wine is fermented in oak barrels with 20 months of post fermentation maturation taking place in the same barrels. When you pull the cork on this wine give it a splash in the decanter for a few minutes. On the palate the wine is round and rich, with a solid frame of tannins and moderate acidity. This is the perfect wine to serve with a tomahawk ribeye, New York strip or lamb chops.
