La Clape is another Languedoc appellation that has earned it's own appellation and with good reason. Limestone soils and coastal Mediterranean breezes create the perfect environment for world class wines. Also, the wines of Chateau Negly are guided by the globe trotting oenologist Claude Gros, which adds an extra layer of polish. This bottling is rich and broad, with a vein of minerality that runs into the long finish. Consider this a slightly more stylized Cotes du Rhone and a perfect every day wine for almost any dish.
