Chateau Fage Graves de Vayres Blanc 2024

Graves de Vayres is an enchanting pocket of Bordeaux located on the south side of the Garonne River, facing St. Emilion and Pomerol. As the name implies, the soil is a deep bed of gravel (graves) that is the perfect environment for grapevines. For this wine, the blend is 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc, a classic white Bordeaux cocktail that gives both texture and tension. Give it a swirl and you are greeted with an enchanting mix of citrus fruits: tangerine, lime and grapefruit, kissed with coriander seed and vanilla pods. This wine has beautiful richness but also a zippy finish that is perfect for serving with soft cheeses, tinned fish or all by itself.
