For the price, Château Bonnet is one of the most storied in Bordeaux, in part because this is where the visionary André Lurton began building his empire. André inherited this estate in 1953 when the Bordeaux region was still a mix of vineyards and cereal crops. Lurton began leasing land to expand the farming aspect, eventually becoming a leader in dehydrated cereal crops, which gave him the money to invest heavily in Château Bonnet. He focused on farming high quality fruit and introduced stainless steel fermentors to make wines with freshness. The result is the bright and lively style of White Bordeaux we enjoy today.

The blend for this vintage is 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Colombard and 6% Semillon, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. It displays a vibrant nose of fresh grapefruit, kiwi, and lemon curd. The palate is dry, with very clean, citrusy notes and persistent minerality.
