Chateau Abelyce St. Emilion Grand Cru 2023

Located on the southwest side of the appellation, the soils are more gravelly, hence a higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon than you typically see in St. Emilion. For the 2023, this wine is 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, which comes through with a spicy, peppercorn note that wafts through the rich nose of black plums and blackberry. Good now, this wine will improve for 5–10 years. Serve with bacon-wrapped filet or rack of lamb.
