The 2022 bottling is quite an example from this property. Produced from 70-80% Semillon, 15-20% Sauvignon Blanc and a small amount of Muscadelle for aromatics, once you pull the cork you will see why this is considered the benchmark for modern White Bordeaux. In the mouth this wine shows a little richness up front before a swath of wet pebble minerality cuts across the wine and provides precision into the finish. This is a fantastic wine for the summer but if you have a little room in the cellar, tuck away a few bottles until next summer and you will understand why White Bordeaux is one of the world's most revered wines. Serve with fried calamari with lemon aioli or crab cakes with a fresh peach salsa.
