Vinho Verde is the consummate brunch wine and the Sunflower bottle from Bartholomew Broadbent has the added advantage of brightening the table too. The new release is delightfully aromatic with citrus and apple notes. Where it really shines is the 9% alcohol making it light and fresh with a delightful spritz on the palate. Serve by itself or with peel and eat shrimp, mini-quiche or eggs Benedict.
