Often unjustly considered one of the “B-Team” varieties of Alsace, Sylvaner has been making a comeback among traditionally-minded winemakers. This bottling comes from older vines, grown on limestone just outside the Zotzenberg Grand Cru, where Sylvaner achieves minerality, ripeness, and aromatic complexity. Notes of green apple, lemon pith, white pepper, sage, and wet stones.
