“Purchased in 1930 by Carlos Quaglia, this distillery still practices many of its old traditions to this day. A successful line of Quaglia’s have been able to keep these old traditions alive, along with adding their own visions to the distillery. The current director of the winery, being the great grandson of Carlos, continues to use the same recipe that has been passed down since the 1930s for his sweet vermouths. Using only certified organic Piemonte varietals (Arneis, Cortese, Trebbiano, Barbera d’Asti), this blend sits in stainless steel with the botanicals for about 60 days. This slow process and allows the wine to develop deep color, have classic sweet and bitter aromas, and a rich and fulfilling finish on the palate.”
