Not all Garnacha is red. In Navarra, winemaker Josu Amatria brings together red, white, and pink-skinned Garnacha to create a lighter, fresher expression of the grape. Foot-trodden and fermented with 50% whole clusters, Despistao delivers juicy cherry and strawberry, a peppery edge, bright acidity, and silky tannins. Give it a slight chill and enjoy with grilled sausages or roast chicken.
