The name for this brand is a double entendre, the sun (or French Sol) evoking the idea that these are fabulous cocktail wines for picnics and outdoor events. However, the Soul part is that are actually made with great intention, from certified organically grown grapes and winemaking practices that avoid any additives or chemicals. The result is two fantastic values that you should make staples for this holiday season.

For their Rosé, the grapes were farmed within view of the Mediterranean, with this wine being a mix of 95% Grenache and 5% Cinsault. These red grapes were direct pressed to extract a little color then bottled with a minimal amount of sulfur. This is a very juicy rose with aromas of fresh strawberries and raspberries, rhubarb, pink grapefruit and pink peppercorns. On the palate it is a real lip smacker, with a crunchy mid-palate and dry finish. Serve with appetizers, cheese and meat boards or all by itself.
