We are enormous fans of winemaker Trey Busch, whose love of Pearl Jam led him from Atlanta to the Northwest in the 1990s. Years later he launched Sleight of Hand Cellars, which today produce some of the most critically acclaimed wines in the Columbia Valley. Only 500 cases of this Syrah were produced from the Stoney Vine estate vineyard. The grapes are foot trodded whole cluster, then fermented with native yeast and aged in small French oak barrels. This is chewy, powerful red wine that nods to the northern Rhone Valley of France more than the New World. Good now this wine will be best 2027-2035.
