The professor Juan Carlos Sancha produces this wine from 100 year old vines growing in the highest elevation of Rioja. The destemmed grapes are then fermented and aged on the skins in clay amphora for six months before the wine is drained and allowed to settle before bottling. This is a bright and spicy example of Grenache, with surprisingly rich texture and great length. This wine also has no added sulfites.
