Friuli, located in the extreme northwest of Italy, is categorized by its proximity to both the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, resulting in a moderate climate with a long growing season. Roberta Borghese and her family have owned the Ronchi di Manzano vineyards (“Ronchi” is the local term for “Steep Slopes”) since 1969, and today she is joined in the winery by her two daughters, Lisa and Nicole. Together they produce wines using the native varieties and traditional viticultural practices of the region.

In a process dating back millennia, this Pinot Grigio is bottled after extended skin contact, resulting in a distinctive pink/orange color. All fruit is selected from some of the estate’s oldest vineyard plots, planted in the early 70s, and harvested by hand. In the winery, fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel in order to preserve the primary flavors and aromatics. Drink now through 2025 with grilled fish, steamed dumplings, or all by itself!
