The pièce de résistance, his otherworldly Pouilly-Fuissé Vers Cras. Starting with the 2020 vintage this wine is now labeled as Premier Cru, one of 20 in the region. Vines are up to 65 years old, and the wine was fermented and aged in 350L barrels, of which a third were older. On the palate they are very concentrated, with a fine frame of minerality that wraps around the fruit and carries into a long finish.
